Lines of research. Aims

The main interest of this group lies in the study of key processes related to exposure to dialysis solutions responsible for fibroblast activation and induction of EMT and its contribution to the development of peritoneal fibrosis. Lately the group is focused on the inflammatory process induced by exposure to dialysis solutions.
